it is a good tough compact sight that you do not have to worry about easily damaging. In my instance with it my only problem is that i had to shim the sight do to the barrel dovetail being a hair to large for it but that is a normal issue with dovetails not all being the same size. It is a good price around 3 to 4 dollars cheaper than others

The Lyman sight was easy to install and it's use is simple. Just what I was looking for.Pros: Ease of installation and use.Cons: None

All I can say is that that the base was too small for the rifle I was trying to put it on. As in it would slide in and out of the dovetail that was cut in the rifle. Since the rifle was 50+ years old I will give the benefit of the doubt and say it might just be how the sight was made; however, a sight from skinner fit with no issues and was even tight. Also the sight was rusty and this is the second time I have gotten a rusty product from OP.
