Best bang for your buck. Clear bright reticle even in the day light. Great finish better in person. Even comes with its own colormatched scope mount at a proper price point.

Installed on my Wilson Combat 16’’ AR15 5.56/223, 1/7 twist bull barrel with hydraulic buffer and JP Enterprises stainless spring. Straight out of the box, the scope exudes quality. (i) One piece mounting bracket is lightweight, great looking, very sturdy and precise. It is marked for proper tork lbs on bracket and rings. (ii) The scope is everything you would expect from Sig. Precise, audible click turrets, Glass is as clear as higher priced brands. Reticle is very useful and intuitive. After zeroed, was shooting every round inside a dime sized circle at 100 yards Have not taken it out past 100 yards yet. (iii) Magnification knob with throw handle is somewhat tight however I prefer that. My only dislike is no off setting in between reticle brightness settings but for an under $300 scope, that non feature is to be expected. Installed the Sightmark LowPro Laser/Light in front of the scope for fast laser acquisition up to 30 meters. (iv) Overall rating on this scope is 5 stars based upon mount, scope aesthetics, glass clarity, precision shots, turrets, precise machining, and design of lighted reticle. – Would definitely recommend to a friend.

This is an 8200 round update to my initial review on this scope. It resides on a PSA JAKL, mainly used for CQB training, definitely not a Bench Betty. Mechanically, SOLID. Zero was lost once after being dropped pretty hard on asphalt. Windage turret cap was banged enough that we had to use pliers to screw it off. Whether the zero was lost in the scope or at the mount, I couldn't say. After resetting zero, it's held up just fine. When scope was new, it had zero fisheye at any magnification. After being beat up and put through it's paces, a fisheye has been developing little by little, between 1-3X. Don't know the inner workings well enough to say what can be causing this, but at 1 X, it's almost to the point where it's annoying. And this is the reason why it might be going back to Sig to be either fixed or replaced. Magnification ring has become much much softer as compared to when it was new. Still provides enough resistance to stay in place but much easier to operate. I like it. Illumination knob still kinda sucks as it lacks off settings between the on settings. Really wish it has that feature…..really. The finish on this scope, as stated in my first review, is very sensitive. If you are buying this for a safe queen which you want to keep looking fresh forever, look elsewhere. It marks and scratches VERY easily. Maybe just slightly better than regular spray paint over the base material. There's no edge on this scope where the finish hasn't already been worn through. The SIG SAUER logos on the sides have just about been worn completely off. This is purely cosmetic but the scope is about 2 months old and looks decades older than ACOGs which I've been bumping around for the past 10 years. Optic clarity is still on point. Really like this scope for the fact that it has been absolutely 100 percent reliable. It might look ugly as sh*t but it has functioned exceptionally well for me. And I don't baby my stuff. If it wasn't for the fisheye that's been coming in, it would be a permanent fixture on my rifle. I trust SIG will do me solid and get the issue resolved so I can keep putting rounds down range. Tough little scope, that's for sure. Also mentioned, in my first review, the fear of having the zoom lever snap off during hard use. Other than needing a little vibra-tite to keep it from coming loose every now and then, the lever is still there after being tossed and banged around. Yes, I absolutely do recommend this scope to anyone who is on the fence about it. It's a no thrills, no frills, get 'er done, little grunt!!

After running this optic on my AR15 for the last few months, I am here with an honest review.I will confess. I am an LPVO nerd, I prefer them over red dot/magnifier combos all the cool kids are running these days.why? because these optics offer versatility and have a rather wide range of price and features. You have the lower-end budget optics like the Primary Arms LPVOs or the higher end ones like the Nightforce scopes.the Tango-MSR sits between a Primary Arms and a Vortex, on par with the mid-range Vortex offerings. It offers clear glass for it's price point, a simple, rugged design, and it comes with its own mount.Immediately upon opening the packaging, SIG really made sure the optic was not going to be damaged in the box. it was firmly secured with foam inserts cut specifically for the optic. it also came with an alan key, scope mount (the Alpha-MSR, also made by SIG-Sauer), a CR2032 battery, flip-up scope caps, and a throw lever. Which is everything you need for accessories.as soon as I started looking through the glass, I noted it was a clear picture. all the way from 1 to 6 magnification. At 25 yards at 6x, the image had a bit of chromatic aberration, but not so much it was irksome and an inconvenience. Image was clear with good focus down to >3 yards. while at 2x, I could see the imperfections in the paint on my wall while looking through the glass while pointing it at a wall less than 3 yards away!the reticle is easy to read, however, the illuminator is weak on mine after a few days of use. I have seen other people complain about this but it is not that big of a deal, since I don't use the illumination in broad daylight. I am unsure what the cause is, but I would try changing the battery. The Eyebox is not small but I do find myself going to the edges of the eyebox at times, especially when raising my rifle. Likely due to it being a new rifle that I am not used to yet.Installation is easy and requires no bubble levels as the lines on the scope and mount indicate if you are aligned or not. the torque specs being indicated on the mount is a nice touch as well and should assist people who have never mounted a scope before. All that said, I still opted to use a bubble level set to verify my alignment.all in all, for the price point, it is a steal. especially compared to something like primary arms similar offerings.

I purchased mine for $250ish but even at $300 this is a good value, and for the money it is excellent. *Honestly it puts the Strike Eagle to shame.*The Illumination puts Bushnell Scopes to Shame-Mount is excellent, and has torque values etched onto it. IMO it is nicer and lighter weight than a Warne.-Glass beats out the Strike Eagle easy, and is on par with Bushnell's Korean Glass.-Battery life is not advertised at all. It is decent enough, I left it on for 220-ish hours on setting #6 before it went dead. On par with Primary Arms. -Brightness is decent enough, but may wash out slightly in super bright sunlight. However the reticle at that point is really easy to pick up in that kind of lighting.-Turrets seem tactile/audible.-Zoom is kind of stiff, but that isn't a huge issue. It comes with a throw lever.-Reticle is sort of a head scratcher since the drops aren't advertised.According to Sig and credit to HD2006"Zero at 100 yards- bottom of center dot: 200 yards- bottom of horseshoe: 300 yards- 1st hash line: 400 yards- 2nd hash line: 525 yards- 3rd hash line: 600 yards- 4th hash line: 750 yards- 5th hash line: 850 yards- 6th hash line: 970 yards"You are getting a ton of features for $250-300. Other scopes in this price range don't include a mount.

At 70 years old I decided to get my first ar-15. I bought the Springfield Armory saint victor. After a trip to the range to zero the iron sights, it became apparent that my eyes needed some help and after a lot of research I bought the Sig Tango lpvo. Not going to take shots over 100 yards and wanted rapid target acquisition. It works perfectly. The mount that came with the optics is a huge plus. I would buy again. Only 2 negatives. I wish the illumination switch had an auto “off” feature. A little on the heavy side. In summary a great scope for the price. Perfect for this 70 year old AR newbie!
