Developed in collaboration with Agency Arms the Prodigy employs AOS (Agency Optic System) plates designed exclusively for the 1911 DS. Machined from billet steel, each plate is designed specifically to deliver proper optic height for intuitive sight picture and instant target acquisition and features an integral rear sight. Each AOS plate ships with screws to mount the plate to a 1911 DS handgun. I have purchased both Trijicon/Holosun plate and DeltaPoint plate from OpticsPlanet.com, which is my go-to site for all optic supplies. I tried both the SRO and DeltaPoint Pro on my Springfield Prodigy 5". Both looked and functioned much better and with bigger windows than Dragonfly optics. In the end, the DeltaPoint Pro will stay on my Prodigy simply because it has a better form factor being closer the same width as the slide and not sticking out towards the breach. I also like that fact you can't really co-witness with iron sights during fast transitions due to the height of the DP Pro. Co-witnessing with fiberoptic front sight during competition is very distracting. You can still use the sight in pinch if your optics breaks as they barely clears the optic, I would call it 1/6 lower co-witness.

The product itself is great. Feels of great quality, which you get the backup iron attached to the plate. Agency AOS was a good choice for springfield, aside from the price, which you've already shelled out for the pistol, so it's not bad in comparison. My only gripe is that with the Leopold Delta Point Pro, because it sits so high, you'll bottom out on adjustments when zeroing, leaving you POA/POI just slightly low.

Fits my EOTECH EFLX Mini Red Dot Sight perfect. Co-witness perfect. You will need the Eotech screws that came the sight. Comes with screws to mount the plate to the pistol.Really happy the way this turned out on my new Prodigy.
