The Magpul MS1 QDM Sling further enhances one of the most versatile line of rifle slings by including factory-installed Magpul QDM quick disconnect swivels. As a heavy-duty replacement for the typical push button swivel, the Magpul QDM offers an innovative low-profile design, single-handed manipulation, a superior corrosion-resistant Melonite finish, and a high-strength, freely rotating bale that canalizes sling webbing to prevent rollover. This sling system not only provides the strength, speed and security of Magpul QDM hardware, but it is also optimized for dedicated two-point sling functionality built around the streamlined MS1 Slider. Once set, this system allows for rapid adjustments to either lengthen or shorten the sling without slippage, tails, loops or other potential snag hazards. In a two-point role, the MS1 allows seamless shoulder transitions, fast adjustability for hands-free rifle carry and shooting support from various positions. The Magpul MS1 QDM Sling retains all of the original MS1 functionality and is fully adaptable for one-point applications with a series of adapters (sold separately) based on the MS3 and MS4 Slings. In testing, the MS1 Sling survived tens of thousands of cycles in wet, dry and sandy conditions, static-load testing without slippage for 72 hours, and weighted six-foot dynamic drop tests. In addition to the controlled lab tests, we also swam with it, jumped with it, hunted with it, hiked into the mountains with it, and – most importantly – shot with it in a variety of rugged field conditions. I have several other fine Magpul Slings for my Carbines and Rifles. Without doubt they are amongst the finest slings on the market! Magpul offers a number of options in their product lineup which allows the users to “ custom design “ their sling setups. Always THINK SAFETY when rigging your weapons! Magpul allows you to do it!

Sling works great. However optics planet sent me the sling with only one QDM sling swivel on the sling out of the package. I called them about it and at first they said they would have the manufacturer (Magpul) simply send me out another QDM sling swivel. Called back this morning to see if it was on it’s way even though I already bought one of the swivels in store the day after I got my sling in with only one QDM swivel and now they’re telling me I’ll have to return the entire sling and other item I purchased in order back to them for them to send me the sling out with both swivels on it. Or offered a discount code for their website to purchase another QDM quick disconnect sling swivel that they’ve now owed me for over a week. Terrible customer service. This isn’t the first item I’ve received from optics planet that had problems with it either. Thought this would be a safe buy with them. Sadly I was wrong and ended up spending 100$ Instead of just 70 to get the full setup due to their inability to look at what they send out before boxing it up. The least they could do is send me another Sling swivel in place of the one they took out/forgot in the first place so I could purchase and use a sling on my other AR with an MOE stock.
