It's a lanyard…there is not much more to say except it works as it is supposed to. Pros: Swivel

This is my second BlackHawk pistol lanyard. Solid construction, extremely durable and highly recommended. Maybe on future models a quick release could be made available but until then this product is highly recommended. Pros: Durable materials with solid construction

This is my second pistol lanyard from Blackhawk and just like the first, it is a dependable, durable, high quality system. I would like to see a future model that had a quick detach in the event that you did not want to dedicate a pistol to being tethered. Definitely recommend.Pros: Durability and QualtyCons: Could use a quick detach

If you carry a handgun while in rough country it pays to use a lanyard. While navigating brush or rough terrain it is easy to lose a pistol. I use these while in the woods. I haven't lost a gun yet. I know several people that have lost pistols. My friends know they can get my attention by simply saying "It's gotta lanyard ring". My ears do tune in.

Very easy to setup and use. When setup to user's preference it doens't get in the way at all.Metal around the eyelet laps the pistol when walking (when carried in a thigh holster)which is annoying/distracting but doesn't take away from functionality. The thread that is the final connection to the pistol ring seems to fray every so often. It seems reliable but seems like the place for the system to fail eventually (or the pile tape, which is replaceable). I do not expect it to fail before getting my money's value out of it. Pros: Easy setup, very functional, no felt pull on pistolCons: Concerned about threads fraying
