Description

The AGM Varmint LRF is a compact thermal imaging scope developed for 24-hour operation under any weather and environmental conditions. Available in multiple configurations: 384×288(50 Hz) thermal detector or 640×512 (50 Hz) thermal detector, and 35mm or 50mm objective lens. These options allow the customer to choose the perfect unit for their needs. The 35mm lens is designed for medium-range applications, while the 50mm lens will be better suited for long-range engagements. Equipped with a highly sensitive, 12m thermal detector and 1024×768 OLED monitor, the AGM Varmint LRF provides a clear image under harsh environment conditions including darkness, fog, smoke, dust, rain, snow, brush, camouflage, etc. The device can be used as a thermal riflescope or handheld monocular, and can be applied to scenarios such as patrolling, hunting, static observation, and more. The built-in laser range finder of the AGM Varmint LRF is designed to determine the exact distance between the observer and the target. Measurement results are displayed on the scopes monitor. One 18650 rechargeable battery gives the device up to 4.5 hours of continuous operation time. An external 5V power bank (battery pack) can be easily connected via a USB to USB-C connector for a significant increase of operating time. The device is equipped with fast EMMC storage for on-board video recording and image capturing. An internal Wi-Fi module for live video streaming and video/image recording via application are also included. *Refurbished Units Only Include 1 Year Warranty* Specifications for AGM Global Vision Varmint LRF TS50-384 4-32x50mm Thermal Rifle Scope: Manufacturer: AGM Global Vision Color: Black Magnification: 4 – 32 x Objective Lens Diameter: 50 mm Sensor Resolution: 384×288 pixels Display Resolution: 1024×768 pixels Refresh Rate: 50 Hz Resolution: 384×288 pixels Eye Relief: 45 mm Field of View, Angle: 3.96 – 5.28 degrees Diopter Adjustment Range: -5 – 3 dpt Attachment Type: Picatinny, Weaver Battery Type: 18650 Battery Life: 4.5 Hours Length: 8.3 in Weight: 722 g, 1.59 lb Condition: New Fabric/Material: Aircraft Grade Aluminum Mount Type: Weaver Features of AGM Global Vision Varmint LRF TS50-384 4-32x50mm Thermal Imaging Rifle Scope High sensitivity thermal detector Fast 50Hz imaging 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x Digital zoom Adjustable color palettes Built-in laser rangefinder High resolution OLED display Various reticle types and colors On-board video recording and snapshot Built-in EMMC storage (16 GB) Wi-Fi data transmission Standby mode Up to 4.5 hours continuous runtime External power supply compatibility Waterproof, shockproof Limited 3-year warranty Package Contents: AGM Global Vision Varmint LRF TS50-384 4-32x50mm Thermal Imaging Rifle Scope

the scope works perfect for hog hunting. It can track small animals like rabbits. very happy

  2. Marcus Cleveland

Brand new TS50-386 from optic planet. Boar sighted it In . Seem to be working fine. Then the cros hairs started jumping. Then the bottom 1/2 of the screen was nothing but colored lines. And no controls would work. Removed the battery made sure it had a full charge now nothing will work.

Great quality for the price. And having 5 different zeros save lots of time switching ammo

Easy to operate, good quality, easy to zero but wish it was lower power zoom (2.5 or 3) and had a wider field of view. Other than that it is awesome. A bigger field of view would allow easier scanning g for coyotes, then I could dial up the zoom when needed. If you are a dedicated predator hunter, I would recommend looking at another product or having enough extra money for a thermal binos to scan. If you have a scanner already, this thermal scope will work great for you.

If you have ever been on the fence about thermal, it’s so awesome. Pull the kids out of collage and use the money for this, it will bring you more joy when you look through it vs that but hole kid. I purschased this scope elsewhere but thought I’d leave a review here since I’m so far happy (almost) with it. It works/worked (more on that in a moment) great, clarity is awesome and detection range is impressive! Easy to use menu functions, the wifi phone connection is so cool you can let your friends look through the scope while you see the image and control the functions on your phone or they can watch the phone while you show them things. I can range well out to 500-600 yards in fair conditions, though I think the beam spread is getting a little large at that range. But if you consider ethics and the useful range of a scope in complete darkness, it well within that range for the lrf. Field of view is small up close but that’s the trade off for having more range w the 384 res. If you think you want something to scan around the house, I’d definitely get a lower base mag unit but I personally love being able to ID out to 500yards (and I can tell if deer are bedded or feeding or see yotes out to 1200 and farther, I know the critters around here though and their habits, which helps) and shoot confidently out to 400. I took it to Arizona and watched a cougar chasing roosted birds at night at 200 yards, I could see it’s tail swishing when it was about to jump into a bush and I could see the birds even! I am planning to purchase a low power monocular for scanning now… use the scope for the business, even though I don’t have any reason to shoot critters at night. Some day I’ll go hunt pigs though maybe. The negative, the battery solder connection broke and I maybe only shot it 15 rds on a 20” 6.5 Grendel. I left a message on the AGM website and a very nice woman called me back right away the next morning and send the rma and told me it will have a 5 year warranty now, even though I purchased it before the new rule change. She said the new scope will be in the mail as soon as they get the broken one. Hopefully it is improved in this area, eventually they will and I’ll just keep getting a new version until they are bulletproof! So far, customer service is outstanding and that’s worth its weight in gold to me with a 3-4k electronic toy! Who else gives a 5 year warranty on electronics! I’ll post again and we’ll see where this takes us.
