The WLAD Weapon Laser Aiming Device is a CLASS 1 laser consisting of a green visible aiming laser, a near-infrared (near-IR) aiming laser, IR illuminator and 500 lm LED illuminator. The function of the WLAD is to provide an operator with highly collimated aiming lasers for precision aiming and targeting visible in low light conditions and in conjunction with night vision devices for night time applications. The focusable near-IR Illuminator floods the area of interest with near-infrared light only visible when used with night vision devices. Try try again AGM.The laserspeed version is hands down just better… and not by a little but a lot. Why buy this from Laserspeed then ruin in…I get the FDA laser limitations for non-LE personnel and the lasers themselves are… adequate… but is the illuminator even regulated, it is ust the laser I thought. The illumination is just HORRID. I know Holosun is notorious for bad illumination on their units but they look like a full power unit compared to this… It so so underpowered it should not even have it…Now I have tessted it on a PCC, forget it on a rifle, but for PCC distances 25-50 yards I guess maybe sorta kinda the illuminator works??? I still put a seperate IR unit on the PCC (850nm Pard) and the laser can still be seen at 75 yards and not washed out, so functional now.For the price I guess it is OK, cheaper than the big brands and cheaper than the laser speed offerings unless ou hit a sale. I just have a big problem with putting a seperate illuminator on my PCC with a 4 in 1 unit…Hopefully they decide to upgrade that slightly in the future. Amazon IR lights smoke this thing… that alone should tell you its quality.

While this might seem to be a great all in 1 combo where you get vis, ir laser, illuminator and light – it is not. It does have all the functions they advertise but this unit weighs nearly 3 times as much as my Dbal and about 2x the size. The size and weight as well as the underwhelming illuminator make this a non-starter. This should be a $300 unit, not a $800 unit.
