This is a basic, no frills, coiled pistol lanyard. It's reasonably priced and not bulky or in the way. It goes on and off a belt with a nice fold over Velcro arrangement and has a loop at the end for your gutted 550 cord or metal ring. Added this to my M9A1, was a little tight in getting the connection device into the lanyard loop. But, other than that, it simply connects to your underbelt, and you are ready to engage. At an extended draw it does not pull your weapon at all – in other words, you really can't feel the tension from the coiled strap.Pros: Low profiled device.Cons: None.

Do yourself a favor and do not buy this junk. The strap that attaches to the firearm will break. I purchased a paracord from home depot and made my own. I own one from Glock and it is far superior to this useless junk. I am very disappointed in blackhawk.
