If you are using it to carry a 30 round magazine the stock has to be fully extended or it could interfer with the weaponPros: durability and quality Cons: usability

The magazine pouch offers excellent utility to carry an extra magazine on your M4.Pros: Extra magazine on weaponCons: May block bolt assist if stock is fully collapsed

I'M ON THE SRT TEAM AT OUR SHERIFF'S OFFICE AND ORDERED TEH MAG POUCH TO HAVE AN ADDITIONAL 20 OR 30 ROUND MAG ON MY M-4. THIS POUCH IS PERFECT, ITS EASY TO REACH AND YOU KNOW YOU HAVE AN EXTRA MAG IF YOU NEED IT..EVERYONE NEEDS ONEPros: GREAT ADDITION FOR M4Cons: NONE

I have 3 ARs and have installed a magazine pouch on all 3. One is by Condor and the other two are Blackhawk. Blackhawk's are superior in quality and ease of installation. The negative would be that a 20 rd PMAG is the maximum the pouch will hold without obstructing an extendable stock from being retracted all the way. Pros: Durable & Well constructed Cons: 30 rd magazine is too big for pouch

Great idea and handy. Keeps an extra magazine right on your weapon. Where you need it when you need it. Only problem is the strap that attaches it to the buffer tube directly interferes with the operation of the charging handle unless the stock is fully extended. Pros: Extra magazine everywhere your weapon isCons: Interferes with operation of charging handle

This seems like a great idea, but you can't work the charging handle unless the stock is fully extended. This is not something I'm comfortable with.Pros: Good quality, good ideaCons: Not practical for rapid deployment
