Keep in mind you are buying a sub-$20 rifle case here. But for what it is, Blackhawk! makes a solid product. The molle on the side allows me to add a smaller pouch for magazines, etc. I would definitely buy another one.

I was looking for a bag for my AR-556. I liked the looks of the Blackhawk Sportster Rifle Case. It was just the right size for my AR. The four magazine pouches are a plus. It was great storage in the big pouch. I got it at a great price also! It is very durable. with a great zipper.

Was looking for a bag to hold my S&W 15 and this works perfectly. Holds my rifle as well as 8 Magpul Mags in the front pockets. Also has a larger pocket in the front that I can put my subcompact in. Great bag to take to the range. A great buy and fast shipping. Thanks Optics Planet.

I'm very pleased with this gun case. Its well made, reasonably priced, and my Trijicon scoped AR 15 fits nicely in it. The mag pockets take 30 round mags but 40s will fit – though a bit tight. The back pack style strap is a useful feature, as is the D Ring for hanging it up. The over-sized nylon zipper appears to be of high quality and functions smoothly. Pros: Well made, reasonably pricedCons: NONE!

The blackhawk sportster case fits my 16" barrel with collapsible stock perfectly. My gun has a vortex strike eagle scope on top and the gun fits nicely. I wouldn't say there is plenty of room for a larger scope, but the strike eagle fits snugly. Mags fit great in the holders and the material seems very durable. The only reason for dropping one star is due to the zipper closing when the zipper is closed. The single zipper does not completely protect the gun from the outside elements. When the zipper is zipped close, there is still a small space that you can easily slide your little finger through to the inside of the case. This space could allow dirt and dust to enter the inside of the case. This is not a huge deal to me because as I will only use the case to transport in a vehicle. If you plan hardcore extended outdoor trips, I would suggest another case.

Just a little shorter than I expected, but a great value and a very serviceable solution.I use this for an AR-15 with a 16" barrel and an adjustable stock. It fits nicely if I collapse the stock to its shortest position.If you have a 20" barrel or another solution for a stock, you will want a longer version of this case.
