Great holster, I have another Blackhawk holster for a different set up, so now I have all kinds of attachment types. Works great with my custom slide that I have on my firearm. Also like how the blackish nonreflective.

Blackhawk has brought some good thins to the table with this holster, but also needs to fix a few things. First the good. The ability for the belt loop to be put onto your belt without removing everything to slide it on is AWESOME. The loops grip the belt tight and the holster is locked into place. The add on leg strap (sold separately) is very comfortable and pivots to allow for natural leg movement. The holster is solid, and well built! Now for what I see as the bad. If Safariland is the gold standard for weapon security… then this is where Blackhawk falls short. The release for this is actuated with your thumb (like Safariland). However, when you squeeze your thumb BOTH retention devices are released in one movement! This makes the holster a very fast draw but I worry about security. There is no way to separate the retention device releases or add an additional lock. KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING.. I would not call this Level 3 retention, more like Level 1+ or Level 2
