The A1/A2 Buttstock Adapter provides an ambidextrous connection point on the top of M16/AR15 A1, A2 and A4 buttstocks. The A1/A2 Buttstock Adapter (A2B) brings the sling attachment point to the top of the weapon, reducing the tendency for the weapon to flip upside down. The A2B works best when paired with the Vickers Combat Applications Sling or Victory Two-Point Sling The A2B adapter band provides an ambidextrous connection point on the top of M16 / AR 15 / AR15 A1, A2, and A4 buttstocks. This brings the sling attachment point to the top of the weapon, reducing the tendency for the weapon to flip upside down, which is prone to happen when using the standard sling attachment point on the bottom of the stock. The A2B adapter is perfect used in conjunction with the Vickers Combat Applications Sling or Victory Two-Point Sling. After installation, ensure adapter is tight enough to tuck the tag end inside of the attached Hook and Loop tab. This is a must have in my opinion for running a solid-stock AR. I'm not a fan of the bottom/standard sling attachment, especially for 'modern' style sling options. This works with Magpul type clips as well as other HK style or whatever…

This is great & needed if you have a rifle stock. It does exactly what’s described, & does it perfectly. You need to make it tight, which can be challenging. But once it’s on, it fixes the sling placement perfectly.

This sling adapter fits tightly and won't fall off like others I've seen. It is designed for an M16 style stock but works wonderfully on my Rem 870.
