Description

Breek Arms lineup of Outside Threaded Muzzle Devices is an affordable upgrade that gives you the option to run a flash hider or muzzle brake while utilizing our Breek Arms Castle Blast Shield as a forward blast diverter or concussion device. Simply slide the blast shield over the outside of the muzzle device and turn the blast shield on. This gives the shooter a more pleasant experience when firing especially for shorter platforms that tend to have an overbearing concussion. This is the best thing you can do with your next $30. Regardless, I am happy with the overall performance of this flash hider. The coating on it allowed the threading to be smooth as you would expect, but I have now run lots of 5.56 ammo through it and the color has not warped at all. The overall "flash hiding" capability is functional but the great part is that it is threaded for a blast diverter.I will definitely be picking up a blast diverter to thread on the end of this muzzle device as I am in a no-suppressor state. For just under $70 that seems like a capable combo. The build quality is excellent.

This looks exactly like I hoped it would. It matches my Faxon match series finish perfectly. The only negative I have found so far is the wrench flats are 13/16" instead of the standard 5/8" but it's not that big of a deal, just another trip out to the garage. Machining is on point and flawless. Mine is the 5.56 model.

This flashhider is just fine as a cheap option, wouldn’t use it on anything too serious. It does ring when fired, it sounds similar to hitting steel at distance. Not a sustained ring, but definitely an audible ping when fired. Comes with a crush washer, but didn’t come close to being in the correct position on my barrel so I bought a shim kit to install it to time it correctly. Good budget threeprong, don’t expect a Warcomp clone though.

Great quality and nice that it comes with a crush washer. Only gripe would be that this device does have a ring with every shot.

Added this flash hider to my first AR-10 build. Most 3 prong flash hiders, especially in this price range have a significant "ring" to them after firing. This is naturally going to happen with a product designed almost identically to a tuning fork. I'm not a machinist but from what I understand, it takes a lot of extra engineering to eliminate this effect which is why some of these flash hiders run in the $200+ range. That is NOT the case with this flash hider, I am wildly impressed with the machining quality of this device and the job it does minimizing flash. I'll be picking up a few more of these for my other ARs.

Does great with flash suppression. Reasonably priced and finished well. If you even look at it, you will hear go "ting" like a tuning fork. The blast forwarding device is a plus if you get it.
