The hammer, ejector, magazine release and slide stop are made of steel, while the trigger, grip safety and mainspring housing are made of a cast metal alloy. The recoil spring plug and recoil spring guide are polymer. Features include an extended beavertail grip safety with bump pad, molded-in checkering on the mainspring housings backstrap and on the frames frontstrap, extended bilateral safety levers, an extended slide stop lever and skeletonized hammer and trigger.
