this grill box is really simple, but the design is really good. cast iron grate with high ridge which is totally different from the pictures on the internet. confirmed with Camp Chef that it's their new model. unfortunately, I got the chips on the grate, returned. waiting for refund. I minus one star, because I think the high ridge make it more difficult to clean.

Quality product. Works great. Easy to use and store. Great for camping BBQ. Season the grates prior to use with Camp Chef Cast Iron Seasoning product. I have cooked chicken, tri tips so far and both turned out great.

I just purchased this for use with the camp chef explorer stove. I did a couple cooks i n my garage before it goes to the camper. Works great and seems well built, can't wait for summer! The grate was easy to clean and seems heavy duty. The lid and hinges seem sturdy. Good job Camp chef.
