Camp Chef sells 2 of these bbq boxes, one black and one stainless. The stainless is much more expensive but probably the better product and the one I wanted. The description on the one I ordered indicated “black” but also said “stainless” with the stainless item id. It was a lot less than Camp Chef’s price for the item ($170 vs $230) so I ordered it. It arrived and was the more expensive stainless one after all. Very happy.

I bought the stainless version this time. Came packed very well. No damage. I do believe the bottom will rot out like last one but I did get 3 years out of it. The best part is I don’t have to buy a new grill. Camp Chef base with burners has no issue. Just replaced grill box on top.
