The CT RAD Max Pro (Rapid Aiming Dot) Electronic Sight is a maximum-sized Open Reflex Sight for carbines and shotguns. Featuring a red 3 MOA aiming dot, the CT RAD Max Pro has a recessed and fully multi-coated lens with a large quick acquisition window. The Crimson Trace CT RAD Max Pro comes with the CT RADIANT Ambient Light Sensor that automatically adjusts the brightness of the aiming dot to the surrounding lighting condition. The CT MOTION Sensor detects movement of the firearm and automatically turns the reflex sight on. The sight powers off after 2 minutes of zero movement. The CT RAD Max Pro comes with an AUTO Shutoff Function that automatically shuts off after 8 consecutive hours of operation to conserve battery life and a manual ON/OFF Function that allows you to turn on or off the sight by using the side brightness buttons. The CT RAD Max Pro is easily installed on almost any MILSPEC M1913 Picatinny Rail. It also has a Full Co-witness mount for use with carbine backup iron sights. The “RAD MAX PRO red dot” is packaged in a nice looking clear plastic display box. Substantial strong clear plastic. BUT, the unit is not affixed to the base in the container, it is banging around in the plastic case. The clear plastic case is cracked as a result of the red dot bouncing around in the container, (this red dot has been through a beating) Have not opened it, and will not accept this given the abuse it has been subjected to. Will return. I will add; the three items I purchased were nicely packed with bubble wrap in the cardboard shipping box, but that did nothing to protect the red dot contacts in its own maraca.

CT packaging not optics planet, arrived with unit bouncing around in clear container and loose screw with it against glass. First time install of battery started to cross thread and had us a screw driver and scratch the pretty finish up to reinstall. If it wasn't a blazing deal it would have gone back.
