Crimson Trace M&P Compact Laser Grip (for my M&P 9c) installed in under 30 seconds, using no tools. I took the gun to the range, fired 3 shots, adjusted, fire 3 more shots, and was right on target. This laser could not have been easier to install or use. The laser is mounted out of the way (covering the serial number) so the gun fits perfectly into my Blackhawk holster still.

I liked this one so much I have since purchased two more for other guns, really makes shooting even more fun than it was before! A friend visiting with us went to the range and was able to put most of his shots in the torso of a silhouette target. Oh, I forgot to mention he has less than half of normal sight. The people at Crimson Trace service dept. Are among the very best!

The best laser I have ever owned I have tried others lasers similarly priced but they would Not match up . the laser is bright and clear even in the daylight I could see it out to 10 yards. I have had other lasers on this gun that fit to the picket any real and could never find a suitable holster this one does not interfere with holstering or re holstering in any way

these grips are great I am able to shoot on target.best idea ct has had for the mandp c,easy to install.the rear activation is better than the front button type.comes on as soon as you are in a shooting grip and stays on.

This is the first laser that I have purchased, My son has a crimson and he told me if you want problems buy one of the cheaper ones and that is what you will have. Put a couple of extra bucks into it and get a Crimson. I looked and actually ordered one for my S&W M&P9C from another site waited for about 2 months and then they cancelled my order because they didn't have them anymore, after 2 mos.?? granted they were cheaper but what a disappointment. I started to look around on the computer and found this site, ordered my model L-661 on Monday and had it in my hot little hands by Thursday. It fit perfect. It is more towards the large grip but I read a few reviews about how the grip was between Med. an Large so I installed my large grip and got use to have the larger grip and when I got the Crimson it felt perfect to me anyway. I zero it in to match my iron sites with a few small adjustments and was ready to go with in 15 or 20 mins. Called Crimson and registered the laser to get the free batteries for life that only takes a few mins.which is just a little something else to add to the Crimson laser deal. If you are looking for a laser that you don't have to buy another holster then this is the model that you want it fit perfect in my daily carry iwb. I hope this helps someone.Max

When I considered buying this item for my new M&P40c, I could not find any reviews from someone who actually had it. I decided to get it and post a quick review for anyone else looking for one. Setup was amazingly easy. Literally from in the box to functional and on the gun in under 2 minutes. Pop the batteries in place and change it like any of the interchangable backstraps that come with the M&P. Then all you have to do is adjust it to the distance you want (came zeroed for 50 feet). It works pefectly, exactly like I expected it to. Very bright and can be seen even in most bright situations. It will actually light about 1/4 of my bedroom around the target hitting the wall with the lights off. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. It still fits perfectly into my Fobus holster. If you want to know if it will fit your holster, put the gun in your holster. The laser almost exaclty covers the serial number on your gun. If your serial number can be seen while holstered you should have 0 problems. I did have a Blackhawk CQC holster for a Glock 21 that fit both this gun and my Sigma (way to long for this gun actually though) that it interfeared with. The gun went in and holstered and functioned perfecly but the laser pushed the plastic out and rubbed on the inside (again where the serial # is).The only negatives I have found at all is that I do have to squeeze the grip slightly harder to activate the laser than I normally would. Maybe I have a normally soft grip and this won't be a problem for you. It's not really a problem for me either, and I have found that even with my normal softer grip the laser activates as I apply pressure to the trigger (causing me to squeeze harder). This can actually be a nice thing as I can have a grip on the weapon without necessarily activating the laser. Simply squeeze harder and it will activate. And I have no doubt that in a pressure shooting situation my grip would easily activate the laser. It can also be easily turned off altogether with the master button allowing you to still use your iron sights to practice (to be ready in the case of some unforseen failure when the laser is actually needed). The only other thing I can say is that the advertising says it closely matches the medium grip that comes with the gun. I had used the medium grip since I bought the gun, since I was planning on getting this. That said, it feels more like the large grip to me. Not much difference but it felt slightly larger than the medium grip, but I quickly adjusted to the difference. Bottom line….Buy it you wont be disappointed. I found it for $230 (not here) and don't regret the purchase one bit. Go for it. Pros: Awesome laser, very easy to use and setupCons: Still an expensive investment, but worth it.
