Real stiff when new. It has loosened up with wear. nice leather and stiching is nice. Very well made and can hold a small cal hand gun holster. Belt should hold up a long time. Not your run of the mill belt. It is rich looking and very functional.

Two leather layers stitched together to provide a stiff and stable mount for my holster. Stitching prevents stretching as well as mechanical bonding to keep the belt together. Very fine product that I am sure will last a lifetime.

If you've read my review of the DeSantis belt slide thumb break scabbard, you might remember I said that holster NEEDS a belt like this to function optimally. Well, it does…With this belt, the holster does NOT move upward during a vigorous draw. Everything stays in place. Well made, good looking, functional and it's not SO thick that it screams "GUN BELT"! You can even wear it to church. Just make SURE that your belt loops, AND the slots on your holster can accommodate the 1 and 3/4" width…not all can. Highly recommended.
