Classic carry in condition 1. Not many options for the 1911 to carry the correct way.Matched with a good belt, the DeSantis holster does the job comfortably. Easy to draw, unsnapping the thumb break.

This holster looks really sharp when carrying a Ruger SR1911 in stainless. I consider it my "dress up" holster.I like the way the thumb break strap covers the firing pin when carrying cocked and locked (Condition 1).Having the firing pin covered by the thumb break strap may give the "other person" not familiar with carrying Condition 1 a better feeling about carrying cocked and locked, because it looks less menacing and dangerous.With some minor practice releasing the thumb break strap, the 1911 is quick to draw.I really like this holster.Pros: With a Stainless Ruger SR1911, looks GREAT!Cons: None

This holster fits my Kimber Aegis ll custom perfect. Other thumb break holsters tend to "knock off the thumb safety. This holster has a small cut out that leaves room for the safety to be unhindered.

Had to wait about 2 months to get the left hand version, but it was worth it. I carry my Kimber Pro CDP II in the small of back position and it rides high enough to stay out of my back pocket. Perfect fit and smooth draw in condition 1 with ambidextrous safety.

After looking for a long time I came across your site. I am left handed and we do not find many products out there. To find just what I needed and the style I wished was great. It fit the gun and after it was broken in it is my carry holster. I will check with you first if I need anything more.
