I absolutely love this scabbard. It is very versatile because it can be adjusted several different ways. I recommend it wholeheartedly. I am taking it hog hunting in a few days. I really like that it holds it safely in my car.

I’ve carried this scabbard for the last year every single day, held up very very good. The leather is nice but it does hold moisture so beware of that. Carried it out and didn’t take shotgun out for a day; second day when I took it out it had rust all around the barrel. It was like the Amazon outside so I didn’t t blame the scabbard. Thought the snaps would come loose but haven’t, slung it over my shoulder every morning without problem. Love the carry handle as well. I carried a shockwave without attachments obviously as it wouldn’t fit with any. I’ve dropped on concrete and shockwave didn’t have a mark so it’s pretty sturdy. Love it

Don't you dare buy a cheap scabbard on Amazon for a quality or any other rifle you own! My Henry short shotgun fits it perfectly, and the leather is stitched well, the seams are well made, and the shoulder strap is totaly adjustable. I recommend the DeSantis Kurz shotgun case highly.

As a shotgun case, the quality of the leather is excellent. The strap is also reversible, meaning that both sides of the case have snaps and the strap can be removed and reattached to either side depending on your carry preferences. The strap also has an 8 inch “no slip grip” rubber insert to prevent slippage from your shoulder when carrying. High quality, well thought out design.However, the case does not fit a Mossberg Shockwave with a racker that includes a light. For example, I have a Streamlight TL Racker on my Shockwave and it will not fit in the carry case (the case is not wide enough to accommodate the enlarged racker).This is not a complaint. Just a notice to buyers of what will/will not fit in this case if you have modified your Mossberg Shockwave from the stock “corncob” racker.
