Great sight, large depth of field and so so many brightness settings to work in low or high light situations. You really can’t go wrong with EOTech sights and I have mine on a CMMG Dissent SBR 300 Blackout w/the EOTech G45 5x Magnifier (overkill I know since it’s basically only effective out to 200 max with subs, but I like it so shut up). My only criticism and why I had to drop a star has nothing to do with functionality but personal preference. The goofy “graffiti” on the top and sides are a little much. I don’t really feel the need to scream to the world that I am firing a certain caliber and while the top legend is semi-useful for first time users gauging bullet drop between subs and supers, it’s something I could have lived without tbh. Obviously it didn’t deter me enough from purchasing but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re the tacticool type (a category I woefully accept myself in). Function 5/5, Looks 4/5.

It came in a nice little case with warranty info, manual, sticker, etc. I picked it up and was feeling happy with how it felt in my hand. It's very sturdy and weighty. But as I turned it on, I realized there was no night vision button. Big sad.I was originally planning on putting this gunsight on my imposter badger. Perhaps I should take some responsibility here as I didn't look it up on EOTech's website or anything, but I wanna warn any potential buyers about the NV since it wasn't clear on the store page.

I keep seeing online posts of people complaining that this is non-NV and then giving it a bad review. First off if you are too lazy to read the features list and realize it’s an XPS2 not an XPS3 or an EXP3, and that the “3” is the designation for NV capable models don’t write a review. You just make yourself look ignorant and are doing a disservice to the what is arguably the best American made optics for CQB. This is a great optic and is a good choice for anybody that doesn’t own NV gear and doesn’t plan on getting into it. If you want NV they do not offer a 300 BLK reticle so just do yourself a favor and get the single dot EXPS3 as that is one of, if not the best NV holographic dot there is.
