DO NOT GET THE CHEEK RISER for an AR setup. The stock looks great, functions great, and the FDE color matches most traditional FDE. The cheek weld on the stock is big enough to use but not overly wide. Once I added the cheek riser on I couldn't effectively use my optic because my line of site was way too high.

Whoever is giving bad reviews on this is either stupid or fake, this stock is super sturdy and tight. is has 0 rattle whatsoever. I use it on a .50 beaowulf , 350 legend and a 6.5 grendel. this stock is the best one I have bought and I own lets just say more that a few AR15's of several different calibers. Totally worth the money spent. Takes some patience putting it on the buffer tube and or removing the cheek piece, other than that it is a solid piece.

This buttstock is not very good…great looking but I needed to get risers for my sights and the charging handle hits the cheek rise not impressed!!need say no more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Their GL-CORE CP stock is one of the best Magpul alternatives, for those of us looking for non-standard upgrade options for our MSRs stocks and other AR-15/M4 clones. This stock has QD mounts in exactly the right places for better sling mounting options, and the rubber butt plate is designed so that it is grippy-enough without being so tacky that it sticks to you clothing or plate carriers. It is completely snag-free, and the adjustment lever for the stock is mounted up front in the most logical place for ease of use and a more natural location for quick adjustments to your LOP in any situation. And the fact that it works just as well with both commercial and mil-spec buffer extension tubes makes choosing this sock a n”no-brainer.” The cheek piece is solidly attached to the top of the stock, and has tethered options for adjustment – leave it flat against the stop at the standard position, or you can choose one of two elevated, angled adjustments depending on which setting gives you the proper eye relief for your rail mounted sight. You simply can’t go wrong with this stock. And should you wish to remove the cheek piece for whatever reason, it removes easily with the removal of three hex head screws.
