Still like the real leather. It grows on you with time . Break-in, must be done first thing . It was very tight for my Springfield A. Ultra compact .45 After several days of applications of leather lotion and holsterings. Two, half days of wear w/ 1.75 in belt and you are good to go.

i bought this product for my Springfield EMP 9mm. What is there to say about the presentation of Galco holsters.of course, there is the fit, which is precise. the look of the thing brings to mind an easy chair in your father's den.There is no extra leather to get in the way. What i mean to say, is that it does not feel bulky on your hip and theweapon sits just where it needs to be for when YOU need to draw the gun. the profile has the least footprint of all the holsters i have purchased, and am very glad for that.

As the title states, this is my 3rd Galco Concealable holster(I also own other Galco's of other designs and love em' all)… I own for my 1911, SIG P239, and now my SIG P220/P226. I wanted another carry option for winter carry aside from my 1911 (P239 is summer-carry) and will use it extensively this year. I have Galco's that are a decade old and all look fantastic. You'll want to order and use some of the Galco "EZ Glide" on the inside of the holster. Apply and then let it dry for 5 minutes. Then insert the pistol and put a heavy phone book on top of it. The pressure will gently mold the pistol into the holster and will "smooth down" the places of contact. This will ensure a smooth draw but will also maintain proper retention. Avoid "stretching" the leather as this does not have a tension screw (it doesn't need one unless you screw up the holster by using conditioners or stretching).Pros: Great fit, great ride, pefect cant, nice retentionCons: None

My wife and I just purchased this holster for one of our G19's. We compared it to one of these holsters that I purchased perhaps 12 years ago or so for another Glock. The leather, build quality, and workmanship appears to be the same excellence.The G19 fit was very very tight. But after inserting and removing the G19 into and out of the holster many times in 24 hours, the holster fits the gun exactly right! We used it on the range today and we were getting smooth draws, excellent pistol retention, and easy reholstering with the the rigid mouth.We did some testing of the FBI Rake in this holster as compared to a vertical holster. The FBI rake has less printing on the concealment garment. It also allows for easier weak hand shooting, simulating an injured dominant hand. The FBI rake allows us to more easily remove our gun from the holster with our weak hand and get the gun into use.Excellent holster. We expect many years of use from this holster.
