Galco FLETCH High Ride Belt Holster for S&W 686 is one of Galco’s most popular designs. The Galco F.L.E.T.C.H. Holster features a unique two-piece design which is contoured on the body side to the natural curve of the hip, keeping all the molding on the front of the holster, allowing for significantly more comfortable carry and a narrower profile than an ordinary pancake type holster*. Hand-molded to fit the 4″ Smith & Wesson 686 handgun, the Galco S&W 686 FLETCH Belt Holster features a reinforced thumb break for security, combat grip accessibility for speed, double-stitched seams for durability, and covered trigger guard for safety. The retention strap configuration is specific to individual firearms types, and varies depending on firearm model. The F.L.E.T.C.H. is constructed of premium saddle leather and made to fit belts up to 1 3/4″. The Galco F.L.E.T.C.H. Bought this for a S&W 686 that mostly sits in the closet. Got the holster and it fit well, but… the thumbreak didn't fit. It was way, way to short. Other wise a great pistol. If I had to daily carry this I'd be real upset but since this sits in the closet, it wasn't worth sending back. Smooth draw though.Pros: fit well and comfortableCons: thumbbreak dosen't fit.

I've owned many holsters and this one beats them all. The leather is firm but supple enough for easy of draw. The fit is sure and performs beautifully when practicing drawing my weapon. I highly recommend this holster.Pros: Great quality and impressive look. Fits as intended and draws easily without snags or pulls.Cons: None

I had purchased universal holsters in the past and was extremely disappointed. So I was reluctant to spend a $100 on a holster. Boy was I glad that I did. The holster fits the S&W 686 like a glove and does not move around in the holster at all. Additionally a snap strap goes over the revolver giving it added security in the holster. The leather that the holster is made out looks very nice and is comfortable on the waste line. You can not go wrong with purchasing this holster if you own a S&W 686, it is a must have.
