The holster covers the trigger to prevent entanglement with foreign objects and adds a safety barrier between fingers and trigger when acquiring a grip. It conceals the shape of the handgun so its outline doesnt print through the pocket, and allows one-handed release of the handgun from both pocket and holster. The holsters hooked shape at the base of the handguns trigger guard is designed to catch on the pocket so that, with practice (using an unloaded firearm) and while using the proper pants, you can draw the firearm while the holster remains in your pocket or falls away. The Front Pocket Holster is ambidextrous and constructed of premium horsehide. The holster should always be removed from the pocket when holstering the handgun. I've been using this holster with my Sig P365 SAS for over four months. The holster is nice and stiff, grabs and holds the pistol securely with the trigger guard covered, and releases the pistol easily on the draw, while remaining in my pocket. The SAS doesn't have protruding sights or slide lock on the slide, so depending upon the pistol you carry, your mileage may vary. It conceals well leaving plenty of room in the pocket to reach in to draw. It's done exactly what I've wanted it to do. I have zero complaints and would buy it again.
