Fair price…..excellent quality…….soften with Neatsfoot oil for about 3 days……perfectly fits SW 629 Stealth Hunter with scope ……..love the look…….took 2 months to deliver, but well worth it…..feels good to carry

I've always wanted a fully functional leather shoulder holster that's not a generic woven material where you gun slides around with a sloppy fit. Well I'm glad I purchased the Galco Kodiak Hunter Shoulder Holster!!! Upon arriving, I installed my 629 and it was a PERFECT FIT!!! I have a S&W 28 Classic, 8 3/4" Barrel with a scope in .44 magnum. I had a generic holster that I used years ago for hunting but this past hunting season it just did not work like it did years ago. Enter the Galco Kodiak Hunter Shoulder Holster: I was skeptical of spending this much for a holster but after reading other reviews I decided to give it a try. This holster is simply Perfect for my scoped large frame revolver! When it arrived it was very hard to insert the barrel into the holster, but I followed the included instruction and it loosened up perfectly. I used it this past weekend and I Loved It!! It fits perfectly once I got it adjusted and I can move it around based upon what I need (center of my chest or I can slide it around to my side). This thing is Worth Every Penny!! If you need a holster for your large frame revolver…Get A Galco!

I used this for a week long hunting trip with a S&W #170334, and it worked great. My shoulder was a little sore after day 1, but the rest of the trip was no problem. My only critique is that I wish it had a hammer thong (like Diamond D Leather offers) instead of the retention strap & snap for a quieter release.

The Kodiak hunter fits my scoped super blackhawk bisley hunter perfectly. I would highly recommend this holster.The fit and finish is fantastic. Also the carry position has a lot of adjustment . I could not be happier .

This holster fits my smith and wesson performance 460 perfect. I didn't buy a scope yet but I will. The leather and stiching is top notch. The leather is thick very well made. It hugs my gun tight so it won't fall out. The shoulder and chest straps are comfortable and very adjustable. Great holster I highly recommend this holster.
