I use this on an Anschutz 1710 22lr heavy barrel that I shoot exclusively at a bench. It creates a slightly longer stock that is desired. It virtually eliminates any recoil from my 22lr's. It is extremely attractive in appearance.It's a little pricey.Pros: APPEARANCE, FIT, EASE OF USECons: PRICE

The recoil pad was much darker than the one I have already, and darker than the picture on the web site. Do you have it in a medium brown like the picture? If so I'd be happy to exchange the one I got. wpd

This is an accessory that most shooters will actually need and all shooters will like. The quality is all Galco, what else needs to be said about that. If you think that the price reflects the product's excellent quality, and it does, then think about what each individual recoil pad will cost you installed if you have several shotguns that have LOPs that need lengthening. I went to a dove shoot in Mexico and didn't want to go through the whole customs and airline trouble so my friend and I took our two pads and rented Benelli's at the shooting ranch. The pads took care that the guns fit us both properly. I wouldn't be without at least one.

I bought this product to use with my Benelli SBE3 shotgun. It is quick and easy to install and remove, and it looks great. It is well made and I expect to get years of use. The LOP on my Benelli is a little short even with the Benelli large recoil pad and this adds that extra length I need for shooting sporting clays during the summer. Then when I put on a heavy coat for hunting in the winter, it is easy to remove to keep the same LOP for shooting ducks. This particular recoil pad was recommended to me by a professional shooter. Optics Planet offered the recoil pad with a very fair and competitive price with fast shipping.

I purchased this for my Henry rifle. I wanted something that looked nice as well as help with the kick of a 45-70. It does a great job and looks great as well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the sizing. The dimensions they give are not accurate. I initially ordered the extra small size and had to send it back because it did not fit even though according to the dimensions it should have.
