Most comfortable holster I've ever carried a 44 magnum in. It is very well made and a good value for the money. A four inch barrel S&W Model 29 will stick out the bottom about an inch. This is a qualilty high ride, concealable holster for a large revolver. I highly recommend it.Pros: Very Comfortable; Well MadeCons: Does not fully cover 4 inch barrel. Not a big problem.

The fit was perfect. Did not have to try to resize any for the S&W 686 3" barrel to fit. This order did take a little longer to get than my other orders from Optics Planet but that's OK. I will order again when needed.

I recently purchased a used s&w 44spl 2 1/2" bbl nightguard revolver. This gun was only in the SW line a few years. I was having an extremely difficult time finding a holster listed for it and most sites offering holsters couldn't tell me if any they carried would fit it. when i ran across this galco high rise it was exactly what i was looking for and it listed the 2 1/2" sw 44spl. When it arrived it fit like a glove. My only regret was not buying the galco draw ease to condition the inside of my holster. Highly recommended.

It started out a bit stiff (leather) it is breaking in well.Conceals my .357 Dan Wesson with 2.5" barrel very well.I have worn it on both sides, even though it is Right handed. When worn on the left side use a cross draw action works well.

I purchased this for my duty weapon (Sig P228) and it fits like a glove! The interior of the holster is unlined but extremely soft. The exterior is a beautiful oiled tan with reinforced snaps. I HIGHLY recommend this holster to anyone on the fence. It’s thick enough to where it stays put on the belt and rides comfortably high. I believe it’s worth noting…my boss has owned this holster since ‘98….

This Galco Silhouette fit my Colt Python 3" barrel perfect. It holds the revolver close to the body, therefore providing less of an outline under my shirt. Exactly what I was looking for. And at a great price. Very fast delivery.
