I use the holster for my XD 9 and my Taurus 145. So I have the choice of 17 rounds of 9mm or 11 rounds of 45.Pros: Fits tight to the body and is comfortable to wearCons: Needs forward cant for better concealability

this appears to be of good materials. a kydex molded holster riveted to a leather backing. durability over a long period will tell whether this will last but for now I'm pleased and wear it on duty/off duty. Pros: keeps gun flat yet easily assesible when concealed under coat. presentation is easy .

I love this holster. It is quick to put on, retention is outstanding. It rides the gun high, so concealment is a little tougher than with a IWB like the Galco Kingtuk, but it shines when super-deep concealment is not required. Camping, BBQs or just around the house, I use this holster. I have many Galco holsters and can say that they are top quality at a reasonable price.

Wear was nice, fit left a bit to be desired. I didn't feel it had the retention I was looking for. I was looking for an off duty carry and maybe something to wear to training events. The kydex was loose and not as form fitting as I had hoped from the product. Good sturdy platform though … Kept true to Galco's leather quality.

I purchased for use with my SA mil-spec 1911. I found that it is a little tight for a full size 1911. However my surplus Star BM was a perfect fit. If I had a "beat-up" 1911, I wouldn't hesitate to force it in the holster but I just didn't want to take a chance of scuffing the finish of my new .45. Overall though, I'm satisfied with my purchase.
