I bought this item because the shoulder holster I bought recommended a tie down for the holster. I got this product described as a tie down listed as a must have for the holster that I bought but is doesn't fit anything I bought and have no idea what it is for because it came with no instructions at all. Not worth sending it back but would like to know what it is for?

I have used this particular piece with several Galco shoulder rigs. I have found them to be well constructed, worked as designed, and long lived. However the holster to be used with this Tie Down did not fit the weapon for which it was intended and both pieces were returned. The return process was unusually fast, courteous, and friendly.

A great piece to offset the weight of a handgun on a four-way strap shoulder holster; the only way to truly insure the firearm does not creep down your side. Not adjustable, but then the shoulder holster's two straps are; so sizing is not an issue.
