Love this unit. Have had several over the years from other vendors. This one is ideal for daily carry or range time. Sturdy, yet extremely pliable leather. Comfortable & durable. The belt hold downs are great for fast adjustment.

This is the second Galco holster rig I have purchased for the FN 5-7. I was ordering a new 5-7 for a customer and he asked about a good comfortable holster for it. I showed him my rig and let him try it on. This new one I ordered for him so when his new 5-7 arrived he would be good to go. He loves the setup and remarked how soft the leather feels even brand new before breaking it in. I have several other Galco holsters and love them all!

Ya may not think that you could successfully conceal a full-size pistol, but this system makes it possible. For a while, my 1911 was the only handgun I could shoot well enough to carry, so I thought I'd try the vertical shoulder holster system. And yeah, works quite well. I found I can hide it under a loose fitting hooded sweatshirt and still draw quickly from a seated position. The only issue I have is that the pistol grip does stick forward somewhat, but that's likely because I'm trying to hide such a big gun on my person. Anyway, highly recommend.

For the price you would think you're getting a durable and capable shoulder holster. The straps aren't reinforced enough to capably carry a 1911. Was surprised to find that the lock down screws have been replaced with plastic punches. Overall just not happy with the quality of leather. They should switch to a more sturdy and tough leather.

The leather is fantastic and I’m pleased with the tan and the quality is exactly what I expected. I needed the weapon holster to be fastened to my belt while I ride my Cafe Racer and be secure. The plastic belt retaining buttons (not sure what to call them) are strong enough to hold the belts. It takes some manipulation back and forth to understand how to secure the belts properly.

I was very impressed with this holster system. I bought it to hold my Taurus Tracker 627. The gun fits very snug but not so much that you couldn't draw in a hurry. I really got this holster to open carry on the farm and conceal carry on walks with the dogs in the fall. The speed mag side is very bulky so I will use a different belt attachment. I'm 6'2" 290lbs and it just borderline fits. If I ate a big meal it might not. I assume it will stretch a bit over time. The leather is quality along with the craftsmanship. I hang it in my closet and now everything smells like leather. I wouldn't trade in my IWB EDC for this but for the specific purposes I mentioned it is perfect.
