Excellent rail. Very high quality. Install was easy. I like that it comes with a low profile gas block as well. The gas block alone has close to a 50 dollar value. Geissele is the way to go. I have two of these and I’m very happy with them.

This is a solid rail. Easy installation, rock solid hold. No need to time the barrel but, which saves some time. The anti-rotation set screws stick out a little, but your hand never really goes near them, so it’s not too big a deal. The M-Lok slot on each side closest to the upper is unusable (barrel nut is in the way).

Fit and finish is flawless. Still wish they provided the gas blocks at least with these. Diameter feels perfect sized compared to other hand guards on the market. DDC is a great color to choose. Anti roll pins don’t mar the finish of my build.

Have Bill call me… so I can tell him how stingy he is. Is this handrail cool, lightweight and everything everyone says yes. Would I buy another one? Probably not. There’s plenty of options out there that are cheaper, same material and will work the same. I have nothing to say but good things about Optics Planet and have always been extremely pleased with their prices and customer service and this order was not different. So in conclusion if you are thinking of buying this handguard go ahead and add $12-15 more for a wrench you will use once and should’ve been included in your purchase.

I replaced RISII rail with this. Lighter and slimmer profile. My second Geissele rail. I recommend their products. Superior quality and great weight.

I put this on a Aero precision M4E1 threaded upper reciever, easy install looks great and this thing is rock solid. The only thing I don’t like, is the fact you spend so much money on the handgaurd, and Giessele doesn’t include the barrel nut wrench, you have to purchase separately.
