I upgraded my Geissele Super 42 buffer and spring to a H3 buffer for firing suppressed and it works great. Product came quickly and in good packaging. Instructions included. I would order this weight again.

Awesome in my 10.5 5.56 pistol using the Geissle braided buffer spring and an SBA3. Huge reduction in recoil adding the 2 weights to go from H1 to H3. No issues with reliability at all. Perfect results. Recoils less than a 9mm MpX no joke.

Item is just as described. I originally purchased an H1 geisselle buffer tube and needed to add extra weight to my tube since I was running a 8.5 inch 300 black out upper. I bought two extra tungsten buffer weight in order to fine tune the buffer for my needs. I added one weight to make the buffer an H2 and I now have an extra in case I need to go heavier. definitely worth the money. The installation isn't complicated as long as you have the right tools. Buyng these will keep you from having to buy multiple buffers.

it works as advertised and creates an H2 buffer for AR rifles that utilize the new Geissele 42 AR buffer. I should note that it will only work with the super 42 buffer do to its smaller diameter and will not work in a standard buffer setup.

Geissele makes high quality firearms and accessories. They unfortunately tend to be overpriced and proprietary. The Super 42 buffer and buffer springs are a perfect example. Due to inner diameter of buffer spring you can only use a Geissele buffer. That’s why they are only sold as a set. You have the option of H1, H2 and H3 (number indicates how many tungsten weights inside buffer). These buffer weights allow you to swap steel weights for heavier tungsten weights to change the overall buffer weight. My opinion, since it’s proprietary sell Super 42 set as carbine weight (3 steel weights) and then include 3 tungsten weights to allow for adjustability from carbine – H3. It would add a few bucks to the price but would cut down on inventory needing to be managed at warehouse and create happier customers. That’s what you call a win, win.
