I am NOT a competition shooter…with that said I have been on the hunt for a better than mil spec trigger…after shooting several different brands/styles and Geissele versions…I was sold on The SSA-E…Then I ran across a YouTube of the SD3G..actually a few videos..the reviewers were so impressed with it in conparsion to other Geissele triggers and praise it so much.. with no bad points to it …I bit the Bullet and made the purchase…installation was a breeze.."THIS THING IS FANTASTIC" i ran it with the 3.5 spring..chrisp short pull…super quick lightning fast reset that feels like it pushes your finger forward makes this"ROOKIE"look like a Pro Competitor….If your debating a trigger upgrade this is by far the choice I would recommend..

The Geissele SD3G is a fantastic trigger for trigger snobs like myself. I put the "black" spring in and I am getting constant 3 lb trigger pulls. The takeup is very short to non-existent. The break is crisp. The reset is very short and positive. The trigger reminds me of a quality 2011 like Atlas or Staccato XC. Very nice.

If you're looking for an excellent light pull (4lb.)trigger with short reset and excellent break, this is it. Recommended for 3 Gun or Range Shooting. I would not use this in a Home Defense rifle or pistol carbine.

Great trigger for the money. Preforms a lot better then any of the fostechs. Told all of my friends about it. I plan on ussing this or the SAE in my next build. Its fast and fun to shoot. Would recommend. 1

This is my 3rd SD3G Geissele trigger and I can't say enough about them. I've had Hiperfire 24C's , Timneys, and CMC's but this is honestly the fastest , smoothest shooting trigger I've ever used. Geissele makes the best hands down, the packaging is phenomenal and the accessories you get with it (Velcro patch, chain, stickers, 2 diff spring weights) you can't beat it man! Best trigger on thr market for sure. You might have to save up for it but it is worth it. If you are trying to decide between this trigger and another cheaper trigger…buy once cry once because it will last a lifetime.
