I was really hoping the fixed power / adjustable objective scope would be extra clear. WOW, is all I can say! This scope has great clarity, edge to edge. It works very well at dusk collecting light. The eye relief is not at all fussy, something I don't like in general about rifle scopes. I am well pleased with this one. My son has an older model 3-9 Hawke which I liked and that's why I bought this one. This 4 power has noticeably better clarity, I'm impressed!

Nice scope for the price. Great optical quality. The length of the scope will allow it to fit almost any firearm. This is a good scope for a fair price. Much nicer than the Simmon's/Tasco's/Bushnell's for only a couple of dollars more.

The title of this review says it all. I didn't buy this scope thinking it would be the quality, performance, and specifications of a Nightforce scope, or something like it. I bought this scope because I was on a budget, and was looking for something with a low and fixed magnification for short-range shooting on a low-recoil, small caliber rifle. And it's simple. I don't need/want illumination, crazy reticles, or overly complicated adjustments. Basically, I envisioned the scope version of iron or open sights. This scope did just that, so I'm happy. I haven't put it through any harsh environments or put it to the test in any way. Nor do I really intend to. I'm not going to combat with the rifle this scope is attached to, just so casual and occasional hunting and/or plinking. And this scope is great for exactly that. So I'm happy with it. No issues, no complaints, no problems. Just a decent, no frills, scope for those of us on a budget. Not the best, but good enough for me.Only preference I would have is for a lower fixed power options (such as 2x).

For anyone who looks at reviews or studys reviews and you are looking at this scope..? Im a review person as Im sure most of us are. I got this scope along with 2 others (3) total for a couple of .50 caliber muzzleloaders but only after reading the reviews and even talking to the factory which assured me this scope would hold up to the recoil cause they are supposedly caliber rated. So I got them. Then with some excitement after receiving them cause they are a nice looking scope by design even felt a little heavy in the hand so I thought ok these should be fine and went thru the whole scope change out process only to figure out they (Can't) take the recoil so now I'm returning them and trying something else. Im sure if the caliber was smaller this would be a great little scope but on large calibers or muzzleloaders they don't work.

Pretty good scope for the money. Reticle isn’t that good for my use. I assumed incorrectly that the spacing was standard mil dot, 3.6moa, which would have been great for me. (Don’t know what I was thinking). But it is 3.6 at 10x making this 3.6 times 2.5. But it does help. I threw it on a Gamo Urban. I chronied the 14.3gr Crosman domes at 850fps and sighted at 30. Drop is only a couple inches at 50. The first “mil” dot is 4.5”. So it helps as I can “bracket” between the cross hair and dot. As for the crosshair thickness, it is about what you would expect from a relatively inexpensive 4x and I like it. This air rifle has almost zero recoil so I can’t speak to its toughness for a springer. Optics are ok. Nothing more than its price point though. Clear especially in the center. When you move from side to side or up and down you see some “fish bowl” distortion along the edge. But it’s a sub $100 scope and I expected that. It reminds me of a Nikon Prostaff, if that’s any help. First time I turned the AO ring I felt a bind then release. That was the only time and it seems ok, but it does make wonder. The marked measurements are a little off but easy to grow accustomed to. I put it just over 50’ and it is good from 12 or so yards to 30 plus. I think the reticle remains on target when the ring is turned which can be an issue on cheaper scopes. All things considered, this scope will absolutely work for me!
