The Holosun 530C offers a great field of view, in a compact package! Featuring their Multi-reticle system, the 530C allows the operator to switch from a 2 MOA dot to a 65 MOA circle dot with a push of a button. The highly efficient light emitting diodes and Solar Fail-safe technology allows the 530C optics to run without a battery in many lighting conditions. Additionally, the CR2032 battery lasts up to 5-years. The 530C is housed in CNC machined Titanium and comes with removable, non-obstructing, clear flip-up lens covers and kill flash. Holosuns Shake Awake technology puts these Red Dot Sights to sleep with no motion and wakes it up, recalling the last setting with the slightest movement, conserving battery life even further. The HE530C is built for all your needs no matter the weapon platform, environment, or type of use. I use this in a law enforcement capacity. Really fast target acquisition and great field of view. The optic has to be tough as it gets rattled and banged around in the rifle rack. It has held up with several hundred rounds and kept its zero. Its mounted on a custom built AR with only light-weight high-quality parts because ounces is pounds when you have to carry it all day. Will be buying another one for my pistol build as it exceeded my expectations!

The one I got from optics planet is absolute co-witness, and I measured it at 1.4in same as my Troy buis. Holosuns website says it’s absolute but give it 1.63 in which 1/3 dimensions. Wish I could post the picture of the contradiction

This optic is built like a tank and works great, plus looks and feels like a high quality optic. My only gripe is the mounting system, this red dot uses a QD mount, but it doesn’t work at all. I had to purchase an Aimpoint mount because the original one wouldn’t hold zero, and I couldn’t get it tight and I tired about everything. I recommend the optic, but don’t trust the QD mount whatsoever, replace it the first chance you get.

I talked to a rep from holosun and this optic is definitely supposed to be an absolute co-witness optic. They said the dimensions on the Holosun website are wrong and need to be changed. Also if this is your first red dot, I’d recommend buying a really cheap one first, because of this optic I’ve found out I have an astigmatism. Looks like 5 or 6 tiny dots grouped tight together to me and my vision is perfect, never had to wear glasses ever. I had a cheap one and just thought it was poorly made, but I found out it’s definitely not the optic after doing a little research

I've got one He530c and two He530G's, and am thinking about buying another "c" model.Being made of Titanium, they are about as indestructible as you can get for the body construction. I've got both the red and green version, but prefer the green reticle. I also like the 30mm dia. lens diameter. I keep thinking of another high grade, tube style sight, but I don't care for the lens only being 20mm in dia. I just prefer the larger sight picture. The dot shape is about as round as I've seen that people with astigmatism can see. There are MANY not as round for us folks with lousy eye sight ! The "kill flash" piece is a very nice offering if you need it. The "quick Detach" lock has two square lugs and the cross bolt to hold it solidly in place on your rail. That's three means of security solid. The lowest dot brightness setting is very low, so using it in low light conditions is VERY easy. No blown out dots, because of being too bright. The brighter dot setting is also great for outdoor, sunny days.As far as "dot" sights go, it's VERY difficult to beat this sight.Ok, so. do I buy another "c" model ?

I was looking for a great optic and, like most everyone else, considered the Eotech and Trijicon the absolute best on the market. I wanted the best, but money (like a lot of people) dictate gear purchase. I scoured the net for reviews of just about every optic made that I considered to fit my needs and budget. I kept returning to the Holosun brand. After much deliberation and saving, I decided the he530c-gr seemed like a good choice. With all the included features for the price, I was very eager to get my hands on it to see for myself. I was not disappointed. This is a very robust optic. It has a smooth even finish ( not important to me because I beat the s**t out my gear). The clarity of the glass is superb. The brightness and crispness of the reticle is actually better than my friends Eotech. The ability to change the modes is very easy and intuitive. Having the shake awake feature saves on battery life and having to turn the optic on and off. Also the ability to use solar power and not waste battery is very appealing. After firing 3000 rounds of 220 grain 300 Blackout it holds zero true. Could not ask for more.
