I’m very pleased with both products. A big reason I went with this product combo is because the battery on the holo lasts 50,000hrs on brightness setting 6 of 12 and even if your battery dies, it has a solar panel on top. It’s also much more affordable compared to other brands as well as better battery life compared to other holos. The case it came in was very nice and had many adjustment tools. I’m excited to see how this set-up performs at the range. I’m already pleased with the size of the display as it is. I’m very happy with the quality of the magnifier. It has a very nice rubber/silicone lense cover.

This will be in depth but it will hopefully be everything you need to determine if this is your next purchase or not. As for the 510, this thing is riddled with so many features that the only edge that an EOTECH might have on it anymore is the name and mostly good reputation (and maybe some extra durability for overly extreme cases). Compared to the EOTECH, the 510 has 20x the battery life, multiple reticles to choose from, is lighter weight, and will work for a few more hours even after the battery is removed. The only downside I’ve noticed in my time with this optic is that the battery tray is very hard to remove and will likely require a flathead to pry it away, but will ease up after the first open. As for the magnifier, there isn’t too much to say other than that the 510 reticle is crystal clear through the HM3X glass and for a prism magnifier the build quality is very solid. The eyebox and eye relief are both very forgiving as well. The quick detach and attach feature is definitely a bonus in that you can easily remove when not needed. As for both as a package, they are smaller and lighter than the picture makes them look. If you are even considering any magnification then this is the combo, as you will save money. If you know you don’t want magnification at all then I would still highly recommend the 510c. Purchase the 510c and don’t think you missed anything with the EOTECH, unless you want more of the name fame.

The red dot and magnifier match up perfectly. Great clarity on the magnifier. I was worried after reading reviews that magnifier can get bumped out of position. I found the magnifier hold its position well, and doesn't move unless you want it to. So glad I went with this package instead of buying both separately.
