The Holosun P.ID Dual (Positive Identification Dual) is a universal illumination tool featuring a powerful white light with IR laser and visible green laser. Holosuns P.ID Dual is designed for use with Picatinny rails and manufacturer-specific handgun rails using the included adapter keys. P.ID Dual features 17,000 candela with 1000 lumens in high mode and 10,000 candela with 500 lumens in low mode and is compatible with common duty holsters. P.ID Dual features a black anodized 7075 aluminum housing with a magnetic charging port for the included 18350 rechargeable battery that provides up to 60 minutes runtime. P.ID Dual has separate activation buttons for white light and laser which have a different tactile feel to distinguish between them. P.ID Dual includes Plus Mode to fire the white light and the visible laser simultaneously and Dual Mode which allows the user to access IR only laser or white light and VIS laser through separate activation buttons. In my opinion this is the absolute best light to run on your firearm, (currently on a ruger5.7 50 rds ran so far) infrared laser is like a added bonus you'll definitely need a custom holster!! Holosun has really come along way can't wait for what's next…

Bottom line up front, this is the greatest light ever made. However, I would not recommend it.The reason why I would not recommend it, is there is very little holster options available. The only holster manufacturer I have found that makes a kydex holster is Alpha Omega. It will not fit in holsters for the surefire x300. If there was more holster options available, say Safariland or Alienware, I would highly recommend it.The thing I love most about this light/laser combo is that the battery is rechargeable yet replaceable. Sure it sucks that it has a proprietary charging cable, but you could take the battery out and charge it in a battery charger.

I originally bought this for my commander sized Stealth Arms Platypus. I love things about it like, the battery type( you can change via the cable or remove it and charge it), the laser strength, the brightness, but there are things that make it not the right fit for that firearm. First, how bulky it is. It added to the width and is bulky. With the elegant lines of the platypus it was just not the right fit. Thankfully it is perfect for another piece I have and it fits the aesthetic.

I love it, have been using it since November 24, but I wanted to dial in a little closer, and don’t know what happened, but it’s got worse off than I started and can’t get it anywhere near I had it, I started from factory settings, counted all the clicks divided by 2, that’s the middle. Than zeroed from there. Worse than it was. I’m sure Optics Planet or Holosun will make it good, both are reputable companies that offer quality products.

It's a joy to shoot with, I have it mounted on my 9mm PCC, Every easy to get to the buttons
