Good:The pack seems durable. The chest rig front isn't all that great. This is partly because molle is becoming less popular, and partly because you can't dump the pack without losing your gear. I'd prefer to have gotten a front panel that was mostly velcro with admin pouches rather than molle.Bad:The straps suck – they're thin, the edges are very rough as the velcro layer runs right to the edge. I replaced them with some USGI medical bag straps and it makes the pack infinitely more comfortable. The original straps can also be reconfigured to use as just a backpack, but they're still missing a sternum strap as it's meant to be used with the chest panel. When expanded, the pack really could use a straps to cinch up the load. Depending on what you're carrying, the payload can flop around a lot while running. If you're using the pack without the chest piece, you can loop a strap across using the existing mount points but you'll need your own strap.I believe the tag said made in china.

This is definitely a niche item with an expected use in mind. If you need a chest rig with a backpack, it is perfect, that is what I want it myself and got my money's worth. Now if you need a chest rig and or a backpack separately, look elsewhere. That being said it will work as a backpack standalone with the right combination of buckle connections, but not as a standalone chest rig.The chest rig portion is simple just a molle panel, but with the right attachments and planning it can be expanded as needed, making it fairly versatile.
