I have checked this against a couple different scales and I find this scale to be accurate to +-.001. 99% of the time it is right on the money!! Not as hard to clean as some have suggested once you have done it a couple of times. Smaller than picture depicts, but that works great for me as I have limited room. Calibration is easy, much easier than the Hornady lock-n load auto-charge I previously had, which was nothing but problems. The electronic shielding is a nice feature, not affected by my cell and other electronics as previously mentioned scale was. Summer is here and we'll see how it acts with the AC running, ceiling fan on LOW does not affect it's accuracy, anyways in my reloading room configuration. powder weight set-up is easy and repeat function works great. All I all great scale, no issues!!

Warm up and accuracy appear to be good when verified with check weights. Auto repeat is quick and accurate within +-.2 grs on extruded and ball powder. Bought for making test loads and the first couple of cleanings take getting used to before it gained me any efficiency.

This is a fantastic product. I purchased two this Christmas, one for my son and one for me. This made a tedious task much easier and more accurate. We have taken very precise measurements confirming that the powder is actually dispensed at an extremely accurate and precise rate.

These scales are accurate and the most accurately repeatable scales I have used so far. They are easy to use, compact and reliable. The design is relatively simple reducing chance of malfunction and the calibration procedure is easy to follow.

I've been reloading without a device like this for MANY years … but .. I've started shooting in competitions and wanted greater consistency in my competition loads. You can more easily build "test" load groups to see what works best for each of your guns. It never varies more than .1 grains and usually below your desired load. It also gives you a count at each load you select. The owner's manual is accurate in that it warns you that cleaning it after each use will seem cumbersome, but after 4 or 5 uses it's no big deal.I have had displays not explained in the manual but I understood what "ERR" meant ….. too much powder was dispensed ….. do not use!!! Pros: Greater consistency and accuracyCons: A challenge to clean …. at first

I am fairly new to reloading, so I have tried several methods of dispensing powder. I bought the Lyman Gen 6 System to replace an auto-disk system I had been using for several months. The auto-disk is a great system, but I was trying to load 380ACP ammo and some powders used such a small amount it was very hard to get an accurate charge. As a result, I was having to double check every charge and it seemed to take forever to load a box of ammo. I started using the Lyman Gen 6 System several weeks ago and for the first 100 loads, I checked the dispensed amount with another digital scale. A few charges were over by 0.1 grain a few were under by 0.1 grain, but over 90% were right on. The ones that were off showed to be off on the Lyman Gen 6. Now I feel comfortable using the unit without checking every load which greatly speeds up the reloading process. Other powder dispensing systems had extra features, like memory for storing charge data, but I am only loading 380ACP and 9MM and the Lyman Gen 6 is the best, most economical option for my use.
