I just got done molding the first 100 boolits with this mold, Lyman mold #266673. Nominal finished weight is 155.3gr using an alloy mix of 9 1/2 lbs of clean clip on wheel weights and 1/2 lb of 50/50 (lead/tin) bar solder. This is very close to the Lyman #2 alloy that the mold is made for. Total boolit length is 1.173" long. Length from base to top of tapered driving band is approximately .5". The rear band measured .266". The middle band measured .265". The front band is tapered and the best measurement I got was .264". The nose measured .254". I used Hornady gas checks and most of them snapped on for a good fit. Fit and finish of the new mold was excellent as expected for a new Lyman mold. This mold is considered to be the best for accuracy for a non-custom, standard, mass produced 6.5mm bullet mold. I bought this to use for my 6.5×55 Swedish Mausers. My expectations are high but, reserved. I expected the boolit band diameters to be a little bigger to fit my chamber throats better. A few more thousandths of an inch on the driving bands would be better, I can size a bullet down but not up in size. I'd also like to see Lyman cut a mold for a little heavier, accurate bullet with a wider metplat for hunting with the 6.5mm's.
