Basket is made of lightweight plastic and the handles will eventually crack and break off on the basket. I contacted Lyman to find out how to get a replacement basket through their warranty. Lyman said this was “out of warranty” and wouldn’t cover a product purchase a few years ago under their “lifetime warranty”. In my experience, Lee, RCBS, etc. will actually stand behind their products.

I've had one of these for a few years, and I often wonder why I haven't thrown it in the trash. Design seems sound, but the manufacturing was done very poorly. Have to stretch out sides to get it assembled, and no matter what it will not turn smoothly, always catching on edges inside when turning. This is one sorry product
