Description
MAGPUL CTR/MOE Stock Clip-on Cheek Riser is designed for the MOE and CTR stocks from Magpul Industries. The cheek weld can be raised as high as you prefer it to go in order to comfortably see through optics. The risers are NOT intended for use with AR15 and M4 rifles due to its interference with the charging handle. Main designation of the MAGPUL Stock Clip-on Cheek Weld Riser is for the M14 carbine applications. I like my Magpul adjustable CTR butt stock but was needing to get higher cheek weld due to adding a 20 moa rail and mounts that raised the scope up an extra 1/2 in. I found these cheek risers and thought the price was worth trying it. I bought the 3/4 in and it was perfect. They snap over the butt stock very securely and will not come off without a lot of prying. If you have your stock in the shortest position the charging handle may not clear the riser. This was not a problem for me as I have the stock back to position 4. For the price its work a try. It might save you a few hundred for a new adjustable butt stock.

I modified this to fit the strike industries fix stock. I had to shave down the interior that snaps over the stock to match. I also had to cut down one of the tabs that hold the cheek piece in place. Works good for comb hieght but it would be better if it had some soft material on the cheek rest for those cold days.

If you installed CTR buttstock to AK, it's necessary to use cheek riser to up your eyes site line to scope or red dot sight, because most of AK adapters, except few Russians, are very low and not lined up with barrel.

I only needed a small change in cheek height and 1/4" did the trick.It interfered with a full length pull on my AR charging handle, so I cut off and deburred a small amount off the front of it, so measure this before you install it.I snaps easily into place, and stays very secure.

I used this .25" riser to get a better sight picture on my sig556R, I've replace the sig stock with a Magpul CRT stock. This provides perfect co-witness with standard AR sights and sig Romeo5. The only back-draw to this or any other Magpul raiser is that if it does not work for you its a bit of a hassle to remove ( I had to remove .5" riser which was too high ).

This is a great add on, but beware if your stock is not extended fully out, the charging handle WILL not extend fully and hit this. Even fully extended, the charging handle sill hits this, but charges enough to do its job. If you run a half extended stock, pass on this upgrade as you'll have to fully extend your stock every time you pull the charging handle back. Otherwise, it snaps right in and works as described. I have my stock fully extended, so this works perfectly for me.
