Great upgrade from a universal stock. The friction lock really makes the stock sturdy. No rattles or sloppiness, and the QD swivel attachment point makes this a plus. Do your research, buy what works for you. Magpul products haven't disappointed me yet.

Had the regular Magpul MOE adjustable stock and upgraded to this. I'm glad I did. With the MOE, I had some play in the stock. The CTR fixed that. Now I have zero play even without it lock. The QD attachments are nice as well. I highly recommend the CTR to anyone wanting a reasonably priced upgrade from the MOE stock. I have this on a DPMS LR-308 G2.

Ordered this for my M&P Sport 2. The factory butt stock did not feel solid and had too much play in any position. I installed the Magpul and it felt solid from the word go! Installation took maybe 30 seconds. Well worth the cost!!

Magpul has always been a great company and I’ve never had any issues before. I purchased this COMMERCIAL buffer tube butt stock for my Rock River carbine. The fitment was so tight that I was unable to move the butt stock forwards or rearwards without using both hands. Really could have used a third hand to get it back off the buffer tube.
