The Magpul ESK (Enhanced Selector Kit) – AR is a modular, ambidextrous selector kit designed for AR pattern firearms that provides user-configurable selectors with modern ergonomics at an accessible price. The ESK AR includes three levers: full, short, and hybrid, a selector pin, and a reversible, corrosion-resistant steel selector axle with 60 and 90-degree options. The selector pin comes in either black or red and secures the lever to the axle while acting as a selector position indicator. Installing the levers is easy and can be done without any tools. When its time to remove a lever, all thats required is a punch. With smart design and ergonomic angles in the right spots, this kit allows multiple selector variations and easier firing hand selector manipulation to allow a modern manual of arms to be employed. I am personally don’t like it, but it is not a bad product. Hence, why I cannot give it a negative review or less stars. It comes with a short lever, long lever and what is supposed to be a hybrid included in the package. I did not interpret the hybrid as such, but rather another long lever. I would have maybe liked the product if (2) short levers came included. The long lever is too much bulk for me as far as a safety selector is concerned. I like something discrete and not bulky. However, I love the option to add the red or black selector pin and how easily it assembles. Also, it has a nice positive snap when falling into position. I would have loved an option for it to not be ambidextrous with the short selector! That would have been perfect for me. However, that was not the case. As the title states, it is a nice product, just not for me!

It's Magpul quality and the custom choices for the selector sizes and color is really nice. I like that you can choose between black or red for the selector indicators. Also having a smaller size selector "left hand shooter" on the right since I'm right-handed is nice as well.

It’s what you would expect from a legacy company like Magpul. Solid build, simple installation, and some plastic. The safety once installed feels solid. It’s odd to have a selector that isn't steel. I like it a lot though. Its snappy, you have the option of 60 or 90 degrees and even red points. Buy it

Definitely my favorite safety on the market, primarily because of the scalloped lever that comes with it. The scalloped lever is great for the trigger finger side of your rifle, since it’ll slip right underneath your finger when activating the safety with your finger still off the trigger. It isn’t over-engineered or styled like some safeties on the market. Wish it was about 25% cheaper, but such is life.

I put ambi switches on every AR I have. I love the Magpul one because I particularly like the red indicator that you can use to immediately visualize the positions of your switch. Also, it’s extremely crisp and very snappy. Super easy install. I highly recommend this ambi switch..
