Good Gear- Looks great, feels great, very easy to install and remove, soft and pliable. Is a helps to insulate from heat (where it is installed). Increases the width of the handguard by a slight amount. Two strips come in the package.

comfortable, they stay in place no matter how many times you take them off and put back on. will buy more. They look good easy to cut. showed them to some others and they plan on getting some as well.

These worked great for the purpose I bought them that was for a little extra grip and some heat dissipation they could have been a little better with the heat. I really like the low profile and the grippyness was great

Perfect. Covers all the annoying holes and adds some grippiness. Clearly marked cutting points, easily installed and removed but not going to fall out. I was originally skeptical but I’m really happy now that I have them installed

I’m torn on these covers. I will start with the pros. I love the added grip that these add. They are soft and rubbery enough to add a positive hold position on your rifle. They are easy to trim for whatever desired length. The con is they are hard to install. Most MLOK covers pop right in. These take a lot of massaging, poking and prodding to get them installed.

I've tried just about every commercial, cheap mlok cover I can find. Magpul scales, BCM MCMR (also excellent) Ergo, Griffin, B5, etc…Some wouldn't stay put and were easy to snag and pull out (B5) others were too chunky, too chunky (Griffin) too aggressive (Magpul panels) or both.Ergo isn't bad, and the price was decent, but they're also chunky and dated for what they are, and the streamlined rails/hand guards we're covering. The Magpul type one has zero of the aforementioned issues. The only one I could see is maybe they're too small for some people… not me. They're perfect. Low profile, chamfered edges that don't catch, thick enough to give your hand some insulation, thin enough to disappear and become part of the rail. I'm not sure what the other guy is smearing on his handguard, but these get grippier the wetter and dirtier they get. They're soft but not gummy. They do require a little bit of effort to get into place (so?) but this means they also don't come out unless you want them to.The only thing comparable in my experience is the BCM panels, which are even thinner, lighter, and hard polymer rather than the elastomer of the type 1. If I were going for insulation in addition to grip, I'd go type 1. if your handguard can handle a little more heat before becoming untouchable, go with the BCM… just wish they made them in grey. For what it's worth, the sniper gray from magpul is a mirror match of the graphite gray color from ergo, they look nice on a black HG with the matching ergo ladder on the pic rail above. Ergo's standard "gray" is more like "wolf gray" from BCM or B5.My only real negative is they're not cheap… but they're looong. Six full mlok slots and they're easy to trim… AND unlike the ergo version, these can be easily and accurately halved. The lugs that hold the ergo covers are one full slot, and they're thick and harder to cut in half. The type 1 lugs are individual halves, with lines on the backside to aide in cutting for a half slot.If you're covering more than two mlok rails any further than 3 slots on each side you'll need two sets (2 ea). For me 3 isnt enough, I like to use the handguard so I like my grip area to cover at least 4 to 4.5 slots. If not for the AFG I'd have had to buy two as well.I'm not sure what the other reviewers were expecting but, these things rock. After listening to them and trying every other cover, I came back and gave these a shot… for a slim rail, these rock.
