I was looking for a single point sling attachment for a Sig Sauer 556 classic with the Swiss folding stock. The Magpul RSA in conjunction with Blackhawks single point storm sling ,mounted directly in front of the rotary diopter is the perfect fit. The rifle balances well ,and the sight picture is not interfered with at all. I would highly recommend this product.Pros: Low profile, solid, simple.Cons: None

It's not as cheap as it could be, but worth every penny… Fits perfectly on my 22mm picatinny rail. I would appreciate if they change slot screws to allen or torx key, that are better to tighten it.This product is made of corrosion resistant material, not sure if steel or other heavy similar. All Magpul stuff a had were good quality and durable!

The RSA Rail Sling Attachment is just what I wanted. I am not a big fan of mounting 37 attachments to the free floating handguard on my AR15. The Magpul RSA is sleek, secure, very functional, and takes up very little real estate! Just what I wanted! I previously tried a cheaper no-name look-alike… probably ok functionally, but looked like garbage. Go with the Magpul!

This sling attachment is great for those who have rifles with full length rails and still want to be able to use a two point sling. This attachment is mounted onto the front of the rail, near the muzzle end. If your rifle has a quad rail, it can be mounted on either left or right side in addition to the top or bottom rails. This feature is great for left handed shooters since the sling can be mounted on the right side of the rifle. It is constructed of metal and being a Magpul product, there is little worry of durability.

This is an excellent product. It is stable and rugged. I have several of them now and I haven't had any problems with any of them… and that's after a lot of heavy use. They've survived Afghanistan with no issues. The loop is large, but not so much that it gets in the way, so it will accomodate even fat sling clips. It works quite well with the Magpul MS3 clips, which is what I prefer. You can use other styles of metal retention clip, and it won't be an issue. My only hangup is that the finish is a little rough, and when taken apart, just looks and feels like cheap cast metal (because it is). The notch on the screw is a little shallow for my liking, and should be deeper so that you can use a field expedient means to unscrew it. Also the screw is pretty coarse threaded. I would prefer a finer thread pitch and a longer screw. That said, I've not had any problems so far. I won't own a tactical AR without one.

This is a great forwarded mounting point for my SWAT rifle. I along with many others on my team realized very fast that a single point sling was nothing more than a fad. I as well as many others from my team realized that when your rifle is hanging from a single point sling it does nothing more then bounce around striking you in the groin, thigh or every single door jam known to man. Not only that but attempting to carry an injured officer while having your's rifle slung from a single point is cumbersome to say the least. I opted to use this part on my rail so that I could go back to a two point sling and I could not be happier. My weapon is secure and stays where I am on it and more importantly stays where I need it. I would recommend this product to anybody looking to attach a sling to their rifle.
