would recomend this to all who have an AR or M4 for the bone tool alone as you have all noticed how hard it is to really clean the carrier group, this kit will make it noticably easierand giv better resultsPros: bone toolCons: none

As I was getting my first AR-15, I needed a new cleaning kit an after a long and hard research, I settled with this one. I am glad that I did. This kit comes with pretty much everything I need. The BONE tool is ingenious and seems to work great (too early to tell). The cable seems durable and with the T-handle installed, it is easy to use (pull). Attaching a patch needs some practice. It needs to be attached in a way that the patch covers the brass jag completely and it is not too bulky for the bore. I am not sure if I want to buy patches from Otis. I might make mine using standard patches.I do not carry the cleaning kit with me for day trips but it is compact enough to be kept in the bag when needed (e.g., a three day class).Highly recommended.

Just get it. Worth the price and top quality components in compact case. Included is the bone tool. This alone is worth it. You will need however to pick up a few more patches for barrel cleaning from Otis if you want to use their system of slots to make patch plug.

Great field kit. Compact and good quality. The only downside is the clp bottle doesn't seal well so once you open it it will leak from then on while stored in case. My plan is to replace with a different bottle that seals better. Only reason it's not 5 stars

As soon as you get an AR or if you already have one get the Otis MSR/ AR cleaning kit. You will need all the items in it to properly clean the black rifle.
