Most gun owners believe that a bore brush is a bore brush. This is a fallacy. The Otis brass bore brush cleans a barrel very effectively. The Otis brush is sized so that it is a somewhat tough pull through the barrel, thus ensuring a good clean. It is recommended to use the Otis gun cleaning rod, but anyone with a screw-in receptor will work. Bought in a bulk package of 10 the price is about the cost seen in most gun cleaning supply stores.Pros: Verry effective, low costCons: None

Otis bore brushes are on par with all the top quality brushes. The snap pack is a nice way to buy in bulk for a good value. I like the universal 8-32 threads that can be used with many other brands of rods or cables.
